Overview

Effective account management is more crucial than ever in the language services industry today, where long-term client relationships are key to success.  This comprehensive course is tailored to impart the essential skills for effectively managing strategic accounts.  Leveraging AI to gain efficiencies, we will cover the following core account management competencies.  

  1. Account Management Fundamentals – developing an account strategy & plan to achieve client-specific objectives.  
  2. Client Mapping – creating additional revenue by identifying and mapping additional translation buyers, stakeholders and influencers within strategic accounts. 
  3. Generating Referrals and Cross-Selling Opportunities – maximize client revenue by leveraging existing relationships for referrals and cross-selling additional services that align with client needs.
  4. Understanding Client Financials – analyze client financial data to gain additional insights into growth opportunities/risks and adjust account strategies accordingly.
  5. Define & set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that align with client objectives, LSP goals and measure account performance.
  6. Orchestrating Quarterly Business Reviews – plan, prepare, and practice conducing effective QBRs

Who Should Attend: 

This course is designed for translation industry account managers and senior project managers who serve in this capacity and responsible for account growth.

Course Format: 

This course will be delivered through a combination of lecture, group discussions and practical exercises.  Participants will have the opportunity to fully engage with the material by applying the concepts learned to their own client account and receive personalized feedback from the instructors.

Duration: 

This course delivered once a week for 1.5 hours for 5 weeks.  While the full course is highly recommended since participants will walk away with a comprehensive account plan, we will offer one-off sessions to meet very specific needs.
