That means that to really succeed, you need to do more than just learn a script or follow a generic sales process. Time was these worked fine, but today’s customers are a lot more savvy. They’re also better informed, expect a greater all round sales experience, and are prepared to go elsewhere if they don’t get it. What’s more, no two customers are alike – they’ll have different agendas, different personalities and different reasons for not wanting to part with their money.

So. To really connect with your customers in today’s competitive environment, you need to have meaningful, human conversations – to listen, ask the right questions and build rapport. The best sales people spend time and effort learning to ‘speak their customers’ language.’

So this is where we swot up on everything from the profiles of your ideal customers to the latest technology making waves in your field. We might run interviews with your sales leaders and teams or have conversations with your customers. We’ll read everything we can to know your industry as well as you do. (If your business is translation and localisation services, that’s probably already the case).
